Relying on foreign fuels to reduce prices will perpetuate uncontrollable inflation and maintain the status quo of weak Naira.
Relevant establishments must now ensure that Nigeria progressively increases local refining and progressively reduces fuel importation.
This is the path towards reducing fuel prices in a way that reduces inflation through strengthening of Naira.
Let’s not scuttle the opportunity we have now to achieve self sufficiency in fuel refining.
